Activity Centre
Activity Centre is a group which aims to provide social interactions for senior members of the community. We meet on the first and third Thursday of the month from 10:00am - 1:15pm.
We start our time together with morning tea and swapping news. Then we have a presentation on a particular topic, together with quizzes, games and some gentle stretches while sitting in our chairs. We finish with a quiet time of reflection.
Lunch is provided and offers another opportunity to get to know each other and share ideas.
A small fee of $10 is charged to cover the cost of morning tea and lunch. Transport can be arranged if needed.
- Where and when? We meet at Normanhurst Uniting Church on the first, third and fifth Thursday of the month from 10:00am until 1.15pm. There is ample parking in the parking lot and on the street.
- Who can come? All members of the church and wider community are welcome.
